Prof. Pradeep Racherla is currently working as a Professor of Marketing at the School of Management – Mahindra University. Pradeep Racherla has over a decade of experience as an entrepreneur, professor, and consultant in the areas of digital marketing, analytics and commerce. He has driven several consulting and research projects with firms such as Lockheed Martin, Philadelphia Wireless, Yelp.com, Tripadvisor.com, Opera.com, Digipro Technologies, and others.Â
His expertise is in digital and mobile marketing, word-of-mouth marketing, social networks, and marketing analytics. Prof. Racherla has a PhD in Business Administration from the Fox School of Business, Temple University, Philadelphia. He was previously an assistant professor of marketing at West Texas A&M University.
Dr Racherla is also an empanelled ‘Visiting Professor’ for EMBA and Executive Education programs at Indian School of Business, XLRI, SP Jain Global (Dubai & Singapore), and Great Lakes Institute of Management. He worked with SP Jain Global to design a ‘Digital Marketing and Metrics’ PG Program that was launched in Mumbai and subsequently, Dubai.
Till 2015, he was the Director of Post-Graduate Programs at Woxsen School of Business, Hyderabad. Prior to joining Woxsen, he was the Gene Edwards Professor of Banking and Assistant Professor of Marketing at West Texas A&M University.
He received several awards and honours for his research and teaching. His 2015 research article was recognized as one of the Top 50 most downloaded and cited works across 500 business journals in the world (Emerald Citation of Excellence). In 2010 and 2011, he received the West Texas A&M University Research excellence award and the Texas A&M system teaching excellence award. Other awards include the best doctoral researcher awards at Fox Business School.
