In conversation with Dr. Yusuf Hassan:
Dr. Yusuf Hassan is a Lecturer in the Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management area at IMT Dubai. He has completed his Fellowship in Management-PhD program from the Indian Institute of Management Indore (India). He has done his post-graduation in Social Work from the Delhi School of Social Work and Bachelors in Philosophy from the Hindu College (University of Delhi) respectively.
Dr. Hassan was awarded the prestigious NIPM-DSSW gold medal for his academic performance during his post-graduation. He secured All India Rank 01 in the UGC-JRF examination conducted in the year 2016. He also secured an All India Rank 156 in the Combined Defense Services Examination-CDSE conducted by the Union Public Service Commission in the year 2013.
Dr. Hassan is an accredited social worker graduate of the Canadian Association of Social Work Education. He is also associated with the Center for Sports, Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) Sweden as its affiliate member cum visiting scholar.
His current research interests lie at the intersection of talent management and authenticity in sports. His doctoral research contributions have been to examine the subjective meanings and tensions of authenticity among athletes of competitive sports which also holds significance for other industries such as the creative industry.
