Dr Manish Gupta is an Assistant Professor at the School of Management, Mahindra University. He was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Resources at IBS Hyderabad, a Constituent of IFHE, Deemed to be University. His PhD thesis is in the area of ‘work engagement’. His current research interests include internet engagement, brand engagement, blockchain and the internet of things. Manish is a recipient of the UGC-JRF and NET certificates.Â
His teaching areas are HRM, OB, HR analytics, and competency mapping. He has both teaching and industry experience. He is an Editorial Team Member of the Journal of Global Information Management, Australasian Journal of Information Systems, International Journal of Knowledge Management, Journal of Electronic Commerce in Organizations, International Journal of Cyber Behavior, Psychology and Learning, and HRM Review magazine.Â
He is Guest Editor for 12 journals. He has authored more than 30 and reviewed more than 70 research papers. He has recently won the AIMS International Outstanding Young Management Researcher Award 2019. He has also won the ADHR best issue of 2018 award. His work has received media coverage in international magazines, newspapers, blogs and news channels. He has 5 books, 9 book chapters, 19 conference papers, and 5 teaching cases to his credit. He has conducted a workshop on academic writing.

Dr Manish Gupta has contributed book chapters on employee engagement, green marketing, and goods and services tax, among others. He has also a few forthcoming book chapters with different publishers. He is a permanent reviewer for Cogent Education and Paradigm (SAGE). He has reviewed articles for Studies in Higher Education, International Journal of Organizational Analysis, Journal of Further and Higher Education, Evidence-based HRM, Leadership & Organization Development Journal and Journal of Management Education (SAGE), among others.Â
He has contributed several research papers to Scopus abstracted and ABDC ranked journals with high impact factors. His recent publications appeared in Service Industries Journal, Current Psychology, Evidence-based HRM, Journal of Management Development, South Asian Journal of Business and Management Cases (SAGE), South Asian Journal of Global Business Research, Asia-Pacific Journal of Business Administration and Advances in Developing Human Resources(SAGE), among others. He has eight conference proceedings to his credit and two case studies in the Case Centre, UK.
