With the creative mindset, she established CURIN (Chitkara University Research & Innovation Network). She has built a strong network with over 200 Universities and Institutions, all across the globe. It is her constant endeavor to create strong Industry linkages to bring the best of employment opportunities for the young graduates in the companies.
Under Dr. Madhu Chitkara’s leadership, CHITKARA EDUCATION TRUST is now one of the highest-ranked universities in North- India.
She has been instrumental in creating more than 61 relevant industry-linked programs at the graduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels. Thus, she created an education hub for the students having different fields. Her contribution also extends to building Incubation Centres for the students having an entrepreneurial mind, with more than 70 companies in place which are running successfully.
For #HER endeavors, she has been felicitated with the title “Women of Substance” and presented with the “Jury Award“ during TLJ Women’s Achievers Awards 2019 ceremony hosted by The Lifestyle Journalist magazine, held on March 7, 2019.
She has been invited as an Eminent Speaker at the panel discussion focused on “Innovation-led Growth Prospects for Chandigarh Region” in presence of His Excellency Sh. Badnore, Governor of Punjab; and Shri Amitabh Kant, CEO of the NITI Aayog, in March 2019.
