About Fellowship Programmes
Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)
Duration
Three-year full-time Doctoral Programme approved by the AICTE.
Areas of Specialization

- Operations Management & Quantitative Methods
Qualification needed
- A Master’s degree in Business Administration(MBA) or equivalent in an allied discipline (Business Economics, Economics, Tourism Management, and Commerce) with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade point from an institution/university recognized by AICTE.
or
- Five-year integrated Master’s degree in Business Administration, tourism management, business economics, commerce, or allied domains related to business and management with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade point from an institution/university recognized by AICTE.
or
- A graduate degree with professional qualifications like CA, CS, ICWA.
Admission Eligibility Test
- JRF/NET by UGC or CSIR: The candidates should have NET/JRF (qualified and valid) Management or allied disciplines (business economics, economics, tourism management, hotel management, and Commerce) related to the subject of their Academic qualification (as listed in the above section)
OR
- CAT/GMAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA: Qualified (should not be taken earlier than two years from the date of admission)
OR
- Research Aptitude Test (RAT): FIIB will conduct an online Research Aptitude Test (RAT) to assess the research aptitude of the candidate. It has four sections namely: Analytical & Logical Reasoning, Data & Numerical Sufficiency, English Language Comprehension, and Research & Teaching Aptitude, which is for 1.5 hours.
Interview and Proposal Discussion
- Candidates are required to submit a research proposal in the area they are interested to specialize in their FPM.
- A discussion on the submitted proposal will take place in front of the Doctoral Committee of FIIB.
- A pre-doctoral workshop on ‘Writing a research proposal: Final frontier to becoming a Doctoral Candidate‘ will be organized for candidates to familiarize them with research writing and proposal drafting.
Final Admission and Registration
Selected candidates are expected to complete all registration formalities within 15 days of receiving the admissions offer, or else their offer will stand cancelled.

Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM)
FIIB’s Executive-Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM) is a three-year part-time doctoral-level programme approved by the AICTE. The programme has been designed keeping in mind the aspirations of working professionals and those academics who wish to add a doctorate degree to help them achieve excellence in their professional pursuits.
The programme will help professionals in developing high-end research skills that help in strategic business thinking, critical analysis, and solving business problems.
