In converation with Mr. Shiril Saju
Featuring Mr. Shiril Saju Shiril is a mechanical engineer from NIT Calicut. After some work experience, he decided to pursue Ph.D., gave GATE exam, and applied to IIM Ahemdabad and IIM Bangalore. He got the interview call from IIM Bangalore and he made it through. Got selected and joined IIM B in the OM area.
He worked in the Automotive Industry for 4 years and got hands-on experience in Complex/Innovative Equipment & Automation Designing for the Production of Automobiles. He also has exposure to full product development life cycle – Design & Analysis to Assembly & Testing o Skilled in 3D Modeling, FEA, 2D Drawing/GD&T, PLM Software, and MS Office.
In an interaction with him, he addressed the following question: Can an engineer straight-way join the Ph.D. Program in management without a master’s degree?
