Introduction
Prof. Sheila Roy is an Associate Professor of Operations Supply chain management and Quantitative methods at SPJIMR. She has been fortunate enough to be a part of start-up initiatives within organizations – from launching the Bombay chapter of an E-commerce consulting firm in 1999 to developing the doctoral program in SPJIMR Mumbai in 2017 and many more in between.
She teaches courses in Operations and Marketing related to E-Business, Marketing Analytics, Quantitative Methods, and Business Research Methods. Her research work has been published in the International Journal of Service Operations Management (IJOPM), IJQRM, IJSS, Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management (IEEM) and ANZMAC conferences.
Her research interests span E-commerce, Direct-to-Consumer(D2C) Brands, digital supply chains, and Data-driven decision-making.
At SPJIMR, she is the pioneer to set up the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) for 5 years. She also co-managed the Admissions process for the 2 Year PGDM program.
She calls herself a Professional Triber who works with multi-functional teams in various organizations and helps them execute projects in space of digitization and analytics.
