In Conversation with Mr. Vikas Choudhary Mr. Vikas is sharing his Ph.D. admission: application and interview experience at IIM Indore in 2020. About Vikas Since childhood, he has an interest in innovation and teaching. He pursued his B-Tech from Visvesvaraya College and M-Tech from IIT Bombay in Mechanical Engineering.
The journey was not smooth for getting into the top institute in India. He left a lucrative job after his bachelor’s and continued his journey in IIT Bombay. IIT Bombay gave him the exposure of research and a different realm of life. In IIT Bombay, he fabricated a special type of Solar Cell on flexible glass, that has been fabricated for the first time in India. After completing his Master’s, he got the opportunity to work for the Indian Political Action Committee (IPAC).
There he got vast exposure to Real India. Visited at least 500 villages and working on the ground made him realize how much work needed to be done. During this phase, I worked for various Political campaigns for different political parties in Bihar, Maharashtra, and Delhi. After seeing the vast scope of Data Analytics and his passion for teaching made him prepare for Ph.D. By god grace and hard preparation, he got into IIM Indore in OM & QT area. His aim is to contribute to society as much as possible and what better way to teach the young minds of India.
