Hi Dear Aspirants and future Researchers! What do you think about PhD after BTech?
Hope you have seen your CAT scores. We completely understand, that some of you might be on the top of happiness peek and some might be equally sad and gloomy. It does not matter what your results are, but, what matter is how you plan your future ahead.
Having realistic approach in whatever you do, is very important. There are many options that are available to you, in any condition. Having said that, we want to let you know, despite the fact you will be able to make and choose a career in masters course in IIMs.
Also, Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) will release CAT 2021 cutoff individually on its website soon. Few have declared and some are expected to be released soon. The minimum marks required for the management course selection is called CAT cutoff.
The point to be noted here is that, you can choose to be a part of Doctoral programme called FPM / PhD, if you have a 4 years of graduation. It has many benefits to do so.
The advantages are discussed below:
a) You can save time in terms that most people go for doctoral course after two years of masters in management, but in this case you can directly apply for the one. And additionally, the less known fact about PhD is that, in most of the IIMs, you complete your first year coursework with the masters students. So, that means anyways you have to attend the same classes.
Then, why to go for masters?? Choose PhD instead. That’s something, which will help you learn new things.

This way, you will ensure to explore different careers, with a stable income and will be able to decide, which one works best for you.
