Dr. Shiji Lyndon is a faculty in K J Somaiya Institute of Management, Mumbai. She has a PhD in leadership from SJMSOM, IIT Bombay. She is certified in Mixed Methods Research from St. Gallen University, Switzerland. She is a gold medalist and rank holder in graduation and post-graduation from the M S University of Baroda.
Shiji’s work has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals such as Personnel Review, International Journal of Educational Management, Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development, South Asian Journal of Business Studies, Journal of Indian Business Research, Indian Journal of Industrial Relations, etc. A management case written by her has been published by IVEY Publications. She has presented research papers at various national and international conferences held in Italy, UK, Greece, IIMB, IIML, IIMT, IISc Bangalore.

Her doctoral work received the ‘Best Advanced Doctoral Paper’ award at the prestigious doctoral conference organized by IRMA, Anand. Her co-authored paper received the ‘Best Paper of the Track’ award at the INDAM 2020 Conference organized by IIM Trichy. She is also the Associate Editor of Journal – Business Perspectives and Research (BPR) which is published by SAGE and is ABDC: C category. She is a reviewer of several leading journals.
As part of her administrative responsibilities at K J Somaiya Institute of Management, she heads the Centre of Diversity and Inclusion (CDMI). CDMI works towards creating awareness and sensitivity, engages in industry partnership and academic research related to diversity and inclusion agenda.
Shiji was also the convener of the 7th International HR Conference on the theme of “Leadership in Changing Times” held on 30-31 January 2020. The conference attracted 104 papers from leading B-Schools in India like IIMs, NITs, MDI, XLRI, TISS, NITIE, IRMA, etc. The conference had highly accomplished academicians as speakers for the workshop, keynote address and to chair the sessions.
Shiji is pursuing executive coaching from the International Coaching Federation (ICF); she has completed 145 hours of coach training and around 250 hours of client coaching. She is certified in Talent Assessment by AON Hewitt. She has conducted various training programs for prestigious organizations such as INS Hamla (Indian Navy), Life Insurance Corporation (LIC), New India Insurance, Power Grid, Department of Atomic Energy, to name a few.
